Jammu and Kashmir: A picture that surfaced showing Indian President Dr Prathiba Patil posing with an AK47 gun surfaced during her current visit in the troubled Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir.

Some members called this photograph insensitive as the state had been reeling under terrorist attack for over two decades. While many supported it saying it is a moral boost for the Indian Army

Unfortunately the gun controversy overshadowed her real intention for the trip.
