The left parties has submitted a written letter to the President withdrawing support to the UPA government  at the centre. However the UPA is not worried as some other parties  including the Samajwadi party submitted letters to the president supporting the UPA government at the centre. However the left parties clarified that they will not bring out any crisis  now as the Prime Minister is attending a conference at Tokyo.
An Ex Jharkhand Minister who is a JD(U) MLA and some of his followers were shot dead by Naxalites in Jarkhand.

Mr Mahesh Kapoor , a cashier in a Mobile company  was shot dead by robbers and a money bag was snatched away from him in New Delhi yesterday. The helmet clad robberes who are two in numbers have escaped. The local traders observed a bund in protest against the killing.
Over 3100 Indian workers  were arrested in Dubai as there were clashes between the contractors and the workers. Several vehicles were alleged to have been burnt  by the Indian workers and furniture was damaged. The workers were alleged to be in a inebriated condition when they caused the arson. Mean while the Indian government is trying to arrange the release of the workers from the detention.
The Indian stock Markets closed week today due to the prevailing political uncertainty at the centre. Moreover the on going feud between the Ambani brothers causing uncertainty in the markets
Shivsena leader Sarpotdar was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment for inciting communal riots in Mumbai in 1992-93. He is the first political leader to be convicted for the  communal riots which shook the entire Mumbai city in 1992-93.
The left parties demanded the Indo-US nuclear deal must be made public immediately.  They allege that the safe guards proposed in the deal was not sufficient.
